Two agendas from different years are opened at a right angle and joined together to form a solid; a block of stone was cut to fill the hollow between the two diaries. The title of these works describes the material from which the block is made, and the number of years separating the diaries. Each diary has a pre-established one-year time span – the year being a human invention, delimiting its finiteness. The stone has an incredibly long time span, one that began far earlier than diary time and is destined to last, far, far longer.
